Trip Itinerary

Day One:
Transfer from Whitehorse to float plane base. A scenic flight over the stunning Southern Lakes region into the Coast Mountains to Bennett City within the Chilkoot Trail National Historic Site.
Stay in gold rush themed canvas wall tents with all the comforts and amenities of a lodge. Enjoy your meals in the cozy Cookhouse or picnic on the lake shore deck.

Day Two and Three:
Explore the Chilkoot Trail and walk in the footsteps of the Klondike gold seekers.You can participate in activities hosted by a member of Carcross Tagish First Nation. Discover the relics of the stampede to the Klondike gold fields, and find out more about the drama of the 1898 Klondike Gold Rush.

Day Four:
You depart Chilkoot Trail Village™ in true gold rush style, by train with the White Pass & Yukon Route. Enjoy the amazing views of Bennett Lake, as you chuck along the old track to Carcross. After a visit to Carcross, transfer back to Whitehorse.
