Founded in 1985 Nature Tours of Yukon is a well established name in the Yukon. We are a long time member of the Wilderness Tourism Association of the Yukon (WTAY), Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon (TIA Yukon) and Klondike Visitors Association (KVA).

From family vacations to corporate teambuilding programs; from daytrips to mountaineering expeditions; the possibilities are only limited by your imagination. Joost van der Putten is the owner and general manager of Nature Tours of Yukon. He is Dutch and after a career in Mechanical Engineering with worldwide experience in Sales, Project Management and Management in general, he moved his career in an entirely different direction. He and his wife Conny fell in love with nature and wilderness of Yukon Territory 20 years ago. All these years they organised their own canoe and backpack trips and became very familiar with the Yukon. Joost loves to plan and organize and likes to take our service to a level above and beyond the ordinary. He also uses his organizing skills with the Yukon Quest. Previous years helping as a volunteer with the preparations and start in Whitehorse and as driver and checkpoint crew member in Pelly Crossing and Dawson City. This year Joost is the manager of the Yukon Quest Finish Line in Whitehorse.
