Join Yukon's First Aurora Hunting Company.

Chasing Yukon’s Northern Lights for 10 years.

Mother Nature is having a party in our Northern skies, and you're invited! Nature Tours of Yukon will be your expert guide to the perfect viewing sites where you can capture that spectacular photo of the Aurora Borealis. You'll board our Aurora van at your Whitehorse hotel; your experienced guide will have checked the weather to determine optimum viewing locations for the evening. Once you've arrived at a prime location you can enjoy a campfire like none other, with toasted marshmallows and hot chocolate under the thrilling Northern Lights.

This is an intimate northern experience with a maximum of eight guests and our company has been certified for Safe Travels by the World Travel & Tourism Council.

Note: This is also a true outdoor wilderness experience, so dress appropriately for the cold and be willing to test out a northern outhouse should the need arise!

Moon or no moon?
Some suggest that moonlight affects your chances to see the Northern Lights. Don't worry, moonlight has no negative effect on sightings. When there is a moon, it will cast a beautiful light on the mountains and forests, creating magnificent foreground lightning for your photos! On new moon nights you will experience extreme darkness and if the sky is clear you will see millions of stars, galaxies and even some planets. With or without moonlight, the show of Northern Lights is always spectacular and unforgettable!
